The following sample daily schedule and class time information is designed to provide you with an overview of our program. Each class has it's own schedule and curriculum goals. They are on display in the classroom. Rita's Christian Academy is an educational program and not just for play. The main part of the program begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Before & After School Care
Rita’s Christian Academy purpose is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere that will benefit the child, the parent and the community. This program will allow the children time to do homework.

The Academy Will Supply:

  1. A computer to help the school-agers with their various school projects.
  2. Plenty of paper, pencils, crayons, markers for their homework.
  3. Gross motor / physical education can be useful interdisciplinary tool providing an important boost to academics. Students learn to cooperate and communicate with each other as they participate in the physical education activities.

We shall provide age-approiate activities, equipment and materials, which are representative of the following categories.

  1. Arts and Crafts
  2. Small Motor Sports and Gross Motor
  3. Science, Language Arts
  4. Dramatic Play, Blocks
  5. Musical Instrument

This will allow the students to experience quality stimulating activities befor and after school

Before School Program
7:30 a.m. Breakfast rest time quite time (books available)
8:00 a.m. rest room break / prepairing to leave for school. Staff will escort children to the school bus.

After School Program
2:30 p.m. children arrive / snack time homework / quite time / story books etc.
4:00 p.m. group time / structured art activity
5:00 p.m. free play / free activities
5:45 clean up (children prepair to go home)

Full Day Program / Summer Program
7:30 a.m. .......Rest time, quite time
8:00 a.m. .......Restroom, free play
9:00 a.m. .......Art activity, breakfast
10:00 a.m. .....Bible story / lesson
11:00 a.m. .....Creative Art
11:30 a.m. ......Preparation for Lunch / wash hands, Lunch
